### CLAUDE.md Rewrite for Agentic Workflows

We took time to rework `CLAUDE.md` so it is clearer, more focused, and easier to follow when doing agentic coding in this monorepo. The new guidance puts the most important patterns and expectations up front, making day-to-day AI collaboration faster and more consistent.

### More Flexible Payload Collection Overrides

The Payload plugin config now supports deeper overrides for the default `users` and `uploads` collections. You can customize user slugs, labels, and auth settings (token expiration, lockout, username login), or disable the default users collection entirely if you provide your own. Uploads now allow custom slugs, labels, static directory, folders, and trash behavior.

## ⚠️ Breaking & Behavioral Changes

The `uploads.enabled` and `uploads: false` options are removed. Disabling uploads created a fragile setup because other parts of the system rely on the uploads collection existing. The plugin now always registers uploads, and you only customize it via its configuration.
