Page SEO fieldsLink to this section
| Field or control | What it does | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Disable page from appearing in search results | Asks search engines not to list this page. | Use for a page that should stay out of search. This does not make the page private. |
| Meta Title | Sets the title used for this page's search and sharing description. | Make it clear what the page is about. The Admin gives a length guide. |
| Insert variable | Adds Page title, Separator, or Website name to the title. | Variables follow the corresponding page or site value. |
| Copy from page title | Uses the page's Admin title as the starting title. | Review it for visitors before publishing. |
| Social Media Share Image | Chooses the image for shared links. | Use a clear image that still works when cropped. |
| Meta Description | Sets a short description of the page. | The field recommends 100 to 150 characters. Write a useful summary rather than a list of keywords. |
| Preview | Shows an example of how a link may appear. | Check both the title and image. The external service can display them differently. |
Empty values can use the site's defaults. The preview helps you see the resulting title and description. Ask your agency to change site-wide defaults.
