Choose an ordinary page or an archive, understand post layouts, and select the right hero for your content.

On this page

A template decides the page's overall structure. Blocks fill in its content. Choose the template before building a new page so you can see the fields it needs.

Choose a templateLink to this section

  1. Open a page in Pages.
  2. Find Page Template in the sidebar. Choose Default for an ordinary page, or Archive for a post listing when your site uses posts.
  3. Review the tabs and fields that appear. Save a draft and preview before publishing.

Changing templates can switch which content fields are displayed. Check the whole page before publishing the change.
